The smallest Royal Oak, dressed like jewellery. The Mini Frosted Gold takes Gérald Genta's octagonal icon and scales it to 23mm, a nod to the original Mini Oak of 1997. The whole case and bracelet are finished in Frosted Gold, a Florentine hammering technique developed with jeweller Carolina Bucci. Thousands of tiny hand-struck indents scatter the light so the surface glitters like set stones, even though there isn't a single diamond on it. It is a watch that reads as a bracelet first and a timepiece second, with all of the Royal Oak's architecture intact.
The 23mm octagonal case and integrated bracelet are both 18K white gold, the case just 6.6mm thick, and both carry the Frosted Gold finish. A tone-on-tone Petite Tapisserie dial sits under an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, with applied white gold hour markers and luminescent Royal Oak hands for clean legibility. The screw-down crown, water resistance to 50m and folding AP clasp keep the everyday Royal Oak practicality. Inside is calibre 2730, a slim quartz movement chosen to keep the case light and thin, with a total diameter of 15.7mm.
